Classical Singer
Egbert Juffer is a classically trained singer and has a unique voice, that falls within the range of a tenor. Having studied with several well-known teachers, both in the Netherlands and the UK, Egbert obtained a range of professional qualifications including an Associate diploma in Music Performance (recital, singing) with distinction. Repertoire covers the Baroque, Classical and (Post)Romantic Era's and includes English, German, Italian and French Art Songs as well as Opera and Oratorio. Egbert favours in particular recital work and has an affinity with Lieder (German Art Songs). Performance experience as a singer is broad, including solo recitals, concert appearances and roles in Opera and Oratorio. In August 2016 Egbert decided to take a break from singing and to focus on his studies and other musical activities. In Autumn 2020 he picked his singing up again for the small project of recording 10 Christmas Carols. This was followed by a small Lieder project in January 2022, and a Christmas Recital in December 2023.
